Swap the hustle and bustle for stunning mountain views on this laid-back 4-day trip through Sikkim! We’ll start in Sittong, a peaceful hill station where you can breathe in the fresh air and soak up epic Himalayan vistas. Think rolling hills, cute local markets, and friendly Sikkimese people.
This trip isn’t just about chilling in Sittong, though. We’ll also head to Darjeeling, the “Queen of Hills,” famous for its sunrise views over Kanchenjunga (the world’s 3rd tallest mountain, no big deal). Plus, Darjeeling has cool colonial buildings, amazing tea plantations, and that mountain vibe everyone loves.
The itinerary throws in a visit to Lepchajagat, a traditional village where you’ll get a glimpse into the lives of the Lepcha people. It’s a chance to learn about their customs and immerse yourself in their unique culture.

Arrival & Transfer to LepchaJagat (Via Mirik Road)
- Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
- Meet your driver and begin the journey towards LepchaJagat.
- Enjoy the scenic drive through the picturesque Mirik Road, surrounded by tea gardens and breathtaking landscapes.
- Take a break at Mirik Bazaar, a popular shopping destination known for its local produce and souvenirs.
- Visit the Gopaldhara Tea Estate, one of the renowned tea estates in the region.
- Stop by the Simana View Point, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.
- Reach LepchaJagat and check in to your accommodation.
- Spend the evening at leisure, enjoying the tranquility of the place.

Day 2
LepchaJagat to Darjeeling
- Depart from Lepchajagat and travel to Darjeeling.
- En route, visit the iconic Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track that offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway passing through.
- Explore the Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the region, known for its serene ambiance and beautiful Buddhist artifacts.
- Continue your journey and reach Darjeeling.
- Check in to your hotel and take some time to relax.
- In the evening, you can explore the vibrant Mall Road, lined with shops, eateries, and local stalls offering a variety of items.

Day 3
Darjeeling to Sittong
- After breakfast, bid farewell to Darjeeling and proceed towards Kalimpong.

- Visit the Tukdah Orchid Center, known for its diverse collection of exotic orchids. Marvel at the vibrant colors and intricate beauty of these flowers.

- Proceed to Peshok Tea Estate and witness the tea plucking and processing activities.

- Continue your journey and reach Kalimpong.

Sittong Sightseeing and Ahaldara Visit
