Calling all mountain lovers! Get ready to conquer Sandakphu, the coolest place (literally!) in West Bengal, on this epic 3-day, 4-night trip. We’ll trek through the Eastern Himalayas, breathing in crisp mountain air and soaking in sunrise views that will blow your mind. But this adventure isn’t all about the peak.

We’ll also be venturing to Lepchajagat, a hidden gem nestled amidst rolling hills. Here, you’ll get a chance to learn about the unique culture and traditions of the Lepcha people, all while experiencing their famous hospitality. This trip is the perfect mix of challenging hikes, stunning scenery, and a touch of cultural immersion – basically, an unforgettable adventure!

Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival & Transfer to Tumling (via Manevanjan)

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
Meet your driver and begin the journey to Manebhanjang, the starting point of the Sandakphu Trail.
Book your tickets from the forest departments and get on the iconic Landrover to continue your Sandakphu Trail.
Start the journey towards Tumling, a small village located at an altitude of 9,600 feet.
Take a stop at Tonglu and if you are lucky enough then you can witness a clear view of Sleeping Buddha (Kanchenjunga Mountain)
Enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding landscapes.
Arrive in Tumling and check in to your homestay.
Spend the evening exploring the village and interacting with locals.
Overnight stay in Tumling.

Day 2 Tumling to Sandakphu

Wake up early and Witness the stunning sunrise over the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, including Kanchenjunga, Everest, and Makalu.
Start the journey towards Sandakphu, the highest point of the trek at an altitude of 11,929 feet.
On the way, take a break at Gairibas and enjoy the scenic beauty of the area.
Next, take a stop at Kalapokhri, and Visit the sacred Kalapokhri Lake. Admire the beauty of the lake and its surroundings.
Then continue your journey by crossing Bikheybhanjang and reaching Sandakphu.
Check in to a homestay and rest for a while.
Explore the area around Sandakphu and take in the natural beauty.
Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from Sandakphu.
Overnight stay in Sandakphu.

Day 3 Sandakphu to Lepchajagat

After breakfast, check out from your hotel.
Come back to Manevanjan and give farewell to your iconic Landrover journey.
Take a short break and explore the local market at Manevanjan.
Proceed to Lepchajagat and check into your homestay.
Overnight stay at Lepchajagat.

Day 4 Departure from Lepchajagat

Wake up to the serene surroundings of Lepchajagat.
Enjoy the peaceful ambiance and breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga range.
Take leisurely walks and soak in the natural beauty of the area.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel.
On the way Visit the Simana Viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills and mountains.
Stop by the Gopaldhara Tea Garden and learn about the tea-making process.
Transfer to Mirik, a picturesque town near Darjeeling.
Visit the beautiful Mirik Lake and Explore the Mirik Bazaar and indulge in some local shopping.
Bid farewell to the beautiful landscapes of Sandakphu as you proceed to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your departure.
